More Information About this Typeface:
Excelsior is a clear typeface, ideal for lengthy settings. Designed in 1931 by C.H. Griffith as a newspaper font of even color, Excelsior soon became established as one of the “Linotype Legibility Group” faces. It reads easily in small sizes like 8pt and above, producing a calm effect on the page. The Excelsior font family is an excellent choice for newsletters, reports and proposals. Excelsior™ is a trademark of Linotype Corp. registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and may be registered in certain other jurisdictions in the name of Linotype Corp. or its licensee Linotype GmbH.
