Isabelle Rozenbaum is a city stroller. Throughout the large and small cities of the world, she has hunted down words, letters, traces, and memory in the context of our everyday life for PhotoAlto. Her photographs of culinary dishes have been stimulating taste-buds for 15 years. Searching as she does for flavors, sensations, and aesthetic quality, she evokes in her work a certain sense of pleasure. On her recent visit to New York City, we asked her to capture the textures of the city's subways.
